1. For good consideration, the Company employs the Employee on the following terms and conditions:
2. STARTING DATE: You should be expected to resume on site on the 27th FEBRUARY OF THE YEAR 2012. You are to report at 8:00 a.m. to the Human Resources Department, where you will be provided with packet containing information on STERLING OIL AND GAS COMPANY (SOG) NIGERIA. Benefits, facilities and services as well to attend an orientation program before job commencement. However you are to provide all the necessary identification and clearances as a precondition to the job engagement, well before resumption, and these will include international passport copies as well as approved work and resident permit.
Should you accept this job offer, per company policy you'll be eligible to receive the following beginning on your hire date.
3. SALARY/MONTHLY NET: The Company shall pay Employee a salary of ($23,000.00 USD ) every month after tax deduction for the services of the Employee, payable at regular payroll periods. All payment of Salary after assumption of duty in Nigeria shall be 75% paid into an offshore account to be provided by employee with the remaining 25% paid locally in Nigeria. This is in line with the NIGERIAN Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws. (The First two months upfront salaries shall be paid in advance before consultants/employee embarks on journey to assume duty to enable you sort out yourself and needs financially at your home country.)
3.1 MOBILIZATION: The two months upfront salaries shall be paid in advance before you embark on your journey to assume duty. This is to enable you settle all domestic needs before travel. All payment of salary after assumption of duty in Nigeria can only be 75% paid into your foreign / offshore bank account to be provided by you with the remaining 25% paid locally in Nigeria. This is in line with the Federal Republic of Nigeria Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws. Expatriate shall also be liable to pay only 5% of salary as withholding tax to the relevant authority in Nigeria.
4. POSITIONS: (SENIOR INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN)
4.1 JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
SPECIFIC DUTIES WILL BE ASSIGNED ON YOUR ARRIVAL HERE IN NIGERIA.
The Employee's duties may be reasonably modified at the Company's discretion from time to time.
4.2 ROTATION: 28/28
4.3 JOB LOCATION: PORTHARCOURT, RIVERS STATE NIGERIA

4.5 CONTRACT DURATION: ONE (1) YEARS

5.2 Allowance/Entitlements: Car Maintenance: $2200.00(Monthly) Inconveniences:$2000.00(Monthly), House & Furnishings: $4,000.00 (Yearly) , Travel & Events: $3500.00(Monthly), Entertainment and recreation: $1000.00(monthly).
5.3 Communication and Internet Facilities : Laptop Computer, Intel Pentium M Processor, 2 GB RAM, 48XCD-RW, 60GB Hard Drive, Floppy Drive, Integrated Network Adapter, Internal 86K Modem, Spare Battery and necessary Softwares. 24 hours Internet access is also available. The company will also provide the employee with one land line phone at home and one mobile phone both will have a reasonable credit amount each month.
6. Visa: New employed and recruited for STERLING OIL & GAS COMPANY(SOG) and not presently possessing a valid Residence, Work Permits, Visa shall be expected to personally incur all expenses as shall be related to the processing, procurement and acquisition of their necessary permits clearance papers with the IMMIGRATION LAWYER and shall be duly reimbursed and will be substantiated with receipts and the employer will reimburse the employee not later than Five (5) working days after submission of employees expense report and receipts.
6.1. Work Permit: On your arrival, STERLING OIL AND GAS COMPANY (SOG) NIGERIA. Shall secure your work permit papers from the HOME OFFICE here in NIGERIA which will enable you to live and work legally here in NIGERIA.
6.2. Flight Ticket: Employer shall also take care of employees' travel ticket including that of employees' family only on employees' early notification to employer and as shall be requested by employee. Your flight ticket will be sent to you, a week before your departure. You are to provide a working and valid postal address where your ticket shall be delivered through a courier service agent, inclusive of the Hardcopy of your Offer Letter and Certificate of Employment.
6.3. Orientation Program: Candidates are advice to arrive a week before job commencement date in order to attend the orientation seminar. Note there will not be further interview as your appointment is basically on the information, which you have provided on your resume before screening. There will be a routine check of your credentials on arrival by the Human Resource Department to confirm validity.
6.4 Reimbursement: The Employee will incur reasonable expenses to get his/her visa and work permit. After your travel documents is ready, The employee will be reimbursed by the employer for reasonable moving expense incurred only as a result of relocation or early termination of leases, storage charges: procurement of travel documents, immunization etc. Reimbursements shall be paid not more than five (5) working days from submission of report / and receipt as proof of payments.
7. Safety and Security: Safety and Security of personnel (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Job Locations and communities are no small issues, and have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free operations. All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy as applicable in the Company Sector. All expatriates are entitled to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be delivered by qualified safety and environment experts. 8. Medical and Health Care: Employer will provide the employee and family with comprehensive Health care for the time of contract, and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the time of contract for employee and family.
