Director Kafadnam Hamidou of www.http://goldtradingsarl.net/
Basically this scam works by the company director posing as an individual looking to sell gold from small scale miners in Western Africa, after some negotiations they are willing to send gold to you on a CIF basis, if you pay for the insurance. So I agreed to pay for the insurance and soon afterwards I was given the tracking numbers from the courier - ECO INTL COURIER SERVICE. After less than 24 hours of the consignment being sent it is stopped in France by customs and requires a certificate of non criminal origin, at this point Gold Trading claim to have insufficient funds to obtain the paper work and ask for money to have the goods released from customs. So I agreed to pay and within 24 hours the goods were released by French customs and everything appeared fine, then the goods were stopped by customs in PNG for failing to have a power of attorney . After this was paid for there was a problem with the insurance and so the story goes. At each point Gold Trading Sarl provided guarantees ect and once a certificate is obtained it is sent via email and looks genuine.
The whole point to this story is that there is no gold in the first place and Gold Trading Sarl set up ECO INTL COURIER SERVICE website to act as a mutual third party. These scammers have clearly been at this for some time and even when you catch them they will still keep on calling you to try and obtain more money so the shipment can be released.
The story even goes further and once the goods have been returned you are then contacted by BENIN INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT/ANTI-FRAUD who pose as government officials trying to assist you - but they obviously charge a fee for their service. There phone numbers are + 229 93 18 96 32
