Was almost taken today. Responded to an ad on Craigslist, listing two purebred Maltese puppies.

Last night after he said he would start the process in the morning, I did some research and found this web site, and others, and knew right away that it was more than likely a scam, but since no money had been exchanged, I saw no reason to not let it go further. As soon as the "shipper" email came through, and I saw the Western Union transfer info, I knew it was a scam. I emailed the person back stating that I knew at this point it was a scam, and that I would not be sending any money.
The email address that was originally used was: bankyy2012@gmail.com
Doing a Google search on the email, produced this web site: http://malteseandyorkiespups.webs.com/

Hi Ben, Look there are special shipping agency that are specialist only for the transportation of animals.Some can also be transported through delta airlines but private agency are the best because the bring the animal right to your door steps.As i said before all i need is your delivery address and i will take the puppies to the shipping agency in our city and make flight reservation and the agency wll now contact you either by phone or email and tell you how to pay for the flight and once you pay they will tell you when the flight will be leaving and when the puppies will arrive your city and be delivered at your door step okay, |

I'm sorry for taking so long to reply, but my wife and I are looking at the web sites that you gave me. I know its getting late there, but I do have a couple more questions, if you don't mind. Are they shipped with crates, and are those included or will we need to pay for those as well? On the flypets.com website, it says prices start at $150, but there is an additional $100 if the receiver pays for shipping. Is this the case? It also says that its airport to airport, and delivery to our home is extra. I don't mind picking up at the airport, I just need to know. I did a Google search with your email address, and found what looks to be your website, (http://malteseandyorkiespups.webs.com/) and saw puppies there, are those different ones? I'm only asking because they look like teacup, which I am assuming these are, by their weight? Also, I don't think I got your name.. :-) |

As i said if you are taking the two dogs it will cost $150 and the puppies will be transported inside their crate okay. Yes there is additional cost for home delivery if you are really far away from your airport but you can still pick up the puppies if you have chance. Yes puppies on the website included these puppies and their weight is 2.5 lbs and will end at 4.5 maximum at full grown age. So now every thing depends on you , yes it is late here and if we conclude tonight i can send them tomorrow morning.
