I had an ad up on Kijiji looking for a corgi puppy long story short I got an e-mail asking if I was interested in a puppy still. Of course I am, I just posted the ad...
Hello, i am called Carlson and i just called a while ago trying to inquire if you are still interested in a corgi puppy??
thanks
That was the first e-mail I recieved, it looked fishy to me but I e-mailed him saying I was interested.
Hello
my little pup is just 13 weeks old and am not really looking forward to sell him but i need a good home for the puppy .I really need a home for this little cutie because i will be traveling to UK for a serious surgery this weekend and could not just leave him all alone here. So please i will like to know your exact location and how soon you will like to have him. All i will be needing from you is to be keeping me updated with pictures of him as he grows with you
He updated on all his shots and comes with a year health guarantee. He loves to be carried around and cuddled and full of caressing and kisses. He will come alongside the following- A year health guarantee, registration papers-,An air conditioned crate-Vet records-Food samples-Puppy toys.
But before we go ahead i will like to know
Where you are located??
If you have a vet around your area??
If you are a breeder??
How soon you will like to welcome him to your home??
Hope you are not going to feel upset with the thousand question, just that i want to be sure that he is moving to a good home.
thanks and awaiting your response, Carlson.
This is when I knew it was a scam. He sent me pictures of his "13 week corgis" they looked about 1 week old. I asked him where he lived and he avoided the question for a few e-mails before saying he lived in Alberta. When he told me I would have to pay for the shipping of the puppy I said I couldn't afford the "300 dollars" for shipping and I got this reply.
shipping is never $300 lol. thats just $180 for a home delivery service. Come on!!
This was when I decided to google his e-mail and I ended up finding an ad on a Singapore kijiji for 2 pugs with his e-mail in the ad. Turns out the pictures were actually of his baby pugs. I used a different e-mail and sent another one and received the same first e-mail I got about the corgis.
I've talked to OPP about him, his name is Carlson Fritz carlson_fritz@yahoo.com
