I found a job ad on kijiji.ca and replied to it for a position as a mystery shopper i was almost immediately emailed a response saying that they were going to send me a check for a certain amount of money and following would come a set of instructions on what they wanted me to do.. It just all seemed a little to good to be true, when i received the check curiosity got the better of me and i went to my bank the teller was going to out it into my account but i requested to speak to the branch manager , she advised me the check was fraudulent, i then when to the police station to report this but due to the fact that i had no sent the scamers any money they couldn't do anything, although they advised me for fun to string this scamer along as much as I can and waste his time.

The address to send the funds to was in the untied kingdom, the address on the check was from Toronto and this business was from Ottawa slightly fishy

-----> I have since told him that I'm not sure what his bank has told him but that the check never cleared into my account the bank said there was something wrong with it and that i need a new check which i am now pointlessly waiting for just to waste his time, because clearly he still thinks he has a shot at completing this fraud by telling me the check cleared i mean come on how stupid are you.
