I was approached by a company ,Capstone Alliance Group (http://capstone-alliancegroup.com/), by phone call giving pre-IPO offering of Dropbox. We know that there is big Hype about these IT IPO in recent days. The price of the share before the IPO is very low and asked me to invest a small amount (A few thousand US$) into the shares. They claimed that the at the IPO the shares will definitely be more than twice the price of the shares before the IPO. Tried calling the number on the website and indeed the person is working there. The people answering the phone is very professional and the investment consultant.
They have asked me to bank in the money to a company call Sakata Denshi Ltd which have a offshore banking account in the Philippines. They claimed that in Philippines the bank charges are very low and tax free.
The deal is too good to be true but the whole setup seems quite impressive. Anyone got any comments or experience?
