Crude Oil opportunity

Hi Guys
I am new to this site, I am passed opportunities for different commodities either for sale or looking to purchase, Iron Ore, Coal, Oil, Gold etc,

Most of my time is spent attempting to identify if the opportunity is real or some form of fee scam.

My experience is that a majority of the time it proves to be the later of the two.

I have been offered a crude oil opportunity though one of my relationship, whilst I don't get a good feel for this opportunity the person that has referred it once referred an opportunity that was above board.
