We are satisfied with the caliber of your CV and your answers to our interview questions. Attached to this mail is a contract of Agreement cum Appointment Letter that you are expected to go through, sign and date at the bottom if you are satisfied with the terms of Contract. Thereafter you are to send us a scanned copy of the signed Contract for the purpose of filing and other office protocols.

It should be noted that the Elmwood Hotel. will take care of the charges for your Visa, Flight Ticket and other travel cost but work permit and accommodation will be taken care of by the employee as stated in the contract. Employee will be contacted by our travel agency after contract has been signed and details will be given concerning your travel. First salary bonus will be sent to employee's account as soon as all travel detail are finished and employee is ready to come to the United Kingdom. We also want to encourage you to read the contract carefully before signing.

We will encourage you to contact the travel agent working with the Elmwood Hotel so that you can get your Valid UK Visa, Work Permit Paper and the rest of your Travel Documents in due time and you get to the UK before the date of your resumption. You are to contact (Mr.Grover Meenakshi) via mail sending a scanned copy of the signed contract to them also.

CONTRACT OF AGREEMENT

1.00 APPOINTMENT LETTER
After our recruitment exercise, we found you (Victim) qualified and fit to fill our vacant job position. Hence, we seek to employ your services as stated in the following terms and conditions.

2.00 JOB LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION: The job is at ELMWOOD HOTEL. You are to report to the HR Manager upon arrival for other logistics. Your duties will be explained and assigned to you on your arrival by your Head of Department.

3.00 SALARY, ALLOWANCES & BENEFITS

3.10 BASIC MONTHLY SALARY: 4,000GBP (Four Thousand British Pounds) a month. Salary shall be liable to Increments with time and employees' official promotions as judged by Employer. Any bonus or declarations of bonus shall be made at the sole and absolute discretion of the Company. Employee shall also be entitled to over-time allowance if their work time exceeds the official working hours.

3.11 BENEFITS: Medical Insurance is free for the employee and the employee is entitled to travel and relocation allowance which must be paid by the employer before resumption of duty.

4.00 JOB PROCEEDING:
You will be expected to resume your job as a STORE MANAGER at the ELMWOOD HOTEL on the 20/O4/2013. Work time shall be 44 hours a week (8hrs a day) for the four (4) years contract term. Contract renewal depends on Employee’s performance and Employer’s discretion.

5.00 LEAVE PERIOD: Employees are entitled to 1 months leave period, which can be taken once in a year. Employee will receive GBP 2134 take home for each leave period. You must notify the Company and/or your immediate supervisor as soon as possible if you are unable to work for medical reasons.

6.00 FEEDING & ACCOMODATION: Employee is expected to reside at the ELMWOOD HOTEL ESTATE. Family package status is available for employee that wishes to Re-locate with Family. Employee is entitled to take meals free of charge at the general staff canteens. Dietary options, customized cooks and dieticians are available options.

NOTE: The management of the ELMWOOD HOTEL is going to charge you for the payment of work permit and employee will also be charged for accommodation registration so that they can reside at the company's housing estate.

7.00 MEDICAL EXPENSES: Employer will provide the employee with comprehensive health care for the term of contract, and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the term of contract for employee and family.

8.00 ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Recreational/Sports facilities shall be made available at the disposal of all employees with no expenses to be incurred. Laundry and dry cleaning service will be made available to employee by the company’s laundry and dry cleaning unit on request.

9.00 TRAVEL PLANS/ RE-LOCATION: For Expatriates, Free UK flight ticket will be issued to the employee by the employer as soon as the employee sends copy of a UK work permit paper to the employer. This is in line with the expatriate statuary law of the UK in compliance with the U.N. Terrorism Act. However, for expatriate who do not have valid UK Visa and Work Permits Papers, are to make contact with our official travel agent here in UK for the procurement of Visa and Work Permit processing code and approval letter. It should be noted that your employer will take care of charges for your Visa, flight tickets and any other travel costs excluding the charges for a UK Work Permit Paper which should be taken care by employee.

All UK based employees' are to report personally to our office in London with their documents (including this contract document) for identification, signing, and collection of hard copy of their contract documents.

10.0 AGREEMENT OF CONTRACT
This agreement supersedes and replaces all previous contracts, written and verbal, between the parties and constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. This Agreement is constructed in accordance with SECTION 6 OF BRITISH EMPLOYMENT ACT BILL 2000. A single arbitrator agreed upon by the parties shall decide any dispute between the parties arising out of this agreement.

Please confirm your acceptance of the above terms and conditions by signing and returning to us scanned copy of this Letter within three days from the date of this Letter as failure to do so in due time means you have declined our job offer.

Dear applicant

We have been contacted by your employer (ELMWOOD HOTEL) to provide you details of your work permit and visa application and attached to this mail are the forms documents and information that is needed for you to fill so that the UK Immigration board can grant you your work permit. Please review them although we will give you the breakdown of all you need to know about the processing of your travel documents in this mail.

In accordance with the amendment to the Immigration, Asylum, and Nationality Act 2006, effective from 29 February 2008 which clearly stated that all employee seeking to work in the United Kingdom who are currently Non-Citizen and Non-Resident in the United Kingdom are required to provide proof of the Right to Work in the United Kingdom. After been contacted by you and your employer, we have contacted the British immigration Service with your Employment Contract so that they can provide us with the information and documents needed for the processing of your travel papers. This is the breakdown of all information we received from the British Immigration Service.

With respect to your required travel papers, certifications and other supporting documents to be acquired, we wish to inform you of the requirements of the Department of Expatriate Resources (DER) which is that all expatriates who intend to work in United Kingdom must have attained all DER Certifications in various categories with respect to their contract engagements. Vaccination would be carried out at the port of entry into the country and it is advisable to present all documents on procurement as that would enable the authorities vested with the duty to carry out the vaccinations and administer their duties. The DER Certifications will have to embrace the registration and approval of your relevant information with the designated local agencies (Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and industry respectively with DER inclusive).

The reason for the review of this policy as communicated by the DER is to ensure that expatriates with Letter of Contract do not have to travel down to United Kingdom for any other reason other than the primary aim of commencement of work as required. The cost of the DER certification as written in the mail sent to us from the British Immigration Service entails the list below. We also indicated the cost that will be shouldered by your employer and the cost that will be shouldered by you as stated by your employer.

The DER Certifications will cost you the following:
1. DER Application Form - £96.39GBP
2. Flight Ticket and Visa Application - (has agreed to be paid by Your Employer)
Work permits Registration fees:
(a) Expatriate Work Permit - £99.28GBP
(b) Foreign Affairs Certification – £190.32GBP
3. DER Expatriates Quota Approval Charge in relevant categories £846.90GBP (Has already been paid by your Employer)

This equals a Total £385.99GBP (To be paid by you) Please note that the cost of Visa and Prepaid Flight Tickets has been undertaken by your employer. Also charges of Workers registration Scheme certification (WRS) and National Insurance (NI) will also be handled by your employer.

You will be required to scan and send to us immediately,

1. Scanned Completed Application Document/Form(s) and visa forms which is attached herewith
2. International passport details, (Scan and send as attachment)
Note: Ensure that your passport is okay and valid for the procurement of your travel documents.
3. An address reachable by courier services for documents delivery.

Other immigration formalities as well as travel tickets will be provided by your employer and delivered along side with your relevant documents and other supporting documents (Contract Engagement documents after endorsement).

Note that processing of requisite documents takes 5-8 working days, and as soon it has been completed, we shall furnish to the British High Commission in your country as regard to update of schedule of your meeting with the British High Commission in your country for formal verification and issuing of Visa at the British Embassy in your country.

Payment Procedures for All Permits Charges:

You are to proceed to the nearest Western Union Agent and make remittance of required work permit registration fee of £385.99GBP via Western Union Money Transfer respectively in favor of our Accountant details provided below

Thereafter you are to attach and send payment receipt and the required completed documents to us so we will contact the British immigration Service with the forms and the fee so they can commence and finalize all your necessary Work Permit/Visa and registration of document. After this we will reach out to our contact in your embassy for immediate procurement of your
visa and other supporting documents in record time.

After the completion of the processing of the travel papers which should take at most 8 days, these documents (Hard Copy Agreement Letter, Appointment Letter, Work Permit, Foreign Affairs Certificate, Prepaid Flight Tickets inclusive) would be packaged and sent to you via Courier Service Speed Delivery and sent to the address you are to provide to us to enable you travel down to your duty location to resume duties in record time. Your employer wants all this to be done before your resumption date and we are glad to let you know that with our guidance all necessary documents will be gotten before that time.
