This is my first post so I hope it's in the right place. I my trade due to fraudulent and scamming people, people's passports are being given as proof of identity. The guy I'm currently in dealings with has supplied me with a copy of his passport and other details. Due to the nature of our business he must travel to an African country and is currently visiting Gambia and Sierra Leone.
Due to poor internet connection there I could not setup a video call but only a voice call. So before I move forward with this business dealing I would like to 100% sure he is who he says he is. I have verified that the person put forward, does exist and he does reside in the United States and within the specific state, but it doesn't say that person I'm talking to is that person, and he might have stolen his identity. Verifying that this person has indeed traveled to Gambia and Sierra Leone and currently visiting there will settle his authenticity. The US embassy's are not very helpful in this matter.
The website he has given me is very professional, not off the shelf and verified by http://www.indianyellowpages.com/. I'm not sure how reliable they are.
If someone can give me some insight or tips I will be grateful.
